A maximum entropy system is actually very predictable,
at least on a macroscopic level - uniform temperature.

A chaotic system is different - it is prone to large,
unpredictable changes in state in response to minor
changes in the inputs. The stock market, or at least
the stocks which interest me, happen to be chaotic.
