Elmer - re: "a Technologies will be available, but the chipset needs "another turn of silicon" "

Let's see, do you turn that silicon 10 degrees counterclockwise to make it go 100 MHz or 17 1/7 degrees clockwise?

I would assume anybody buying these early K6-3D boards with these "almost 100" Mhz chip sets should plan on being a beta tester - at their own expense! I guess that's the glory that comes with being an AMD customer.

A further thought - by the time Reliable 100 MHz socket 7 boards are available, what percentage of the market will Slot 1/Slot 2 account for?

Which reminds me - will the Slot 2 be announced before the RELIABLE 100 MHz Socket 7 boards are available?
