Once-Hot Internet Stocks Drop

They said it couldn't last. It didn't.

Shares of obscure Internet-related companies that had soared as market darlings earlier in the week continued a steep plunge yesterday as nervous investors sold en masse.

Simons said that stocks such as K-Tel -- still trading at far higher levels than a few weeks ago -- have farther to fall.
