I would think the JSE ALL Gold Index in SA would be the best gold index to follow. Any thoghts on this?

Hutch, I believe what people sometimes say is true. When gold is up, there is not much indication of that on the news. When it is down, boy the news lets everyone know.

Hope you made a nice profit on your PUT.

How significant is a 276 point drop? Around a 3.5% drop, is that an ouch! or a booboo? Forgive me, because I need to get more familiar with gold in general. It may seem like a silly question. Thanks.
