Recently MOT's performance is really depressed for long term holder. What if one of 19 brokers upgrade it from hold to buy before September? You may see the same $8 jump as HWP did on Friday.

There's talk from some analysts (CNBC & WSJ) that Lucent may have interest in Nokia. Both Nokia and Motorola have almost the same market cap $35B. Could LU surprise everyone to buy MOT instead? Recently ATT tried to merge with SBS, but FCC voiced against it. Also we have seen the unthinkable mergers such as Boeing+Douglas and MorldCom+MCI. Any comment?

Re: "But I wached the stock price for year after year, going up one notch and then retreating!"

I found your statement enlightening. Take a look at this chart and tell me how long "year after year" is.

I've been investing in MOT for "year after year" and I have huge gains.

Best wishes,
