I just knew that was going to be too difficult for you to grasp... please provide a link to support your position.

No Dwight, manufacturers are prohibited from dictating the final street selling price of an item, they can set, and suggest a resale price, and they set the wholesale price but can not dictate the final selling price. $89 is the lowest price big resellers are willing to sell the product for and still make a couple of dollars profit. I said "big resellers" because the small reseller wholesale price for quantity one of the Windows 95 upgrade is $93 from at least one major software distributor. Vars would likely sell those at $109 to their clients along with other computer support services.

Class is over and, since we do not want to slow down the other students, we will continue this discussion privately if you feel the need to continue to present your opinions as facts.
