I share Arthur's view of margin. I also have been in the market for 30 years, and remember 1973-4 very well. Unfortunately, for purposes of managing margin levels, I have never learned to be able to predict, like you apparently have, which years are going to be the exceptional ones and which the lousy ones.

Why don't you ask the people who bought HCOM, NAVR, SEVL, MARG, CYST, TRAC and KTEL on margin Monday of this week how they feel this weekend? Better yet, CCUR will probably start trading options after it gets over $5. When it gets to $6 - $6 1/2 range, I will gladly sell you some 7-1/2's three months out against my investment position. I am sure with all the hype surrounding this stock, they will be a premium of at least 1- 1-1/2 in the options. Then I can recover my cost and have zero basis in the stock. Man, I can't wait!

Also, you seem to be saying you invest all your capital by taking advice from other people. I am amazed you have survived 30 years investing like that. Maybe you have just been lucky.
