Kurt:

The last time that I talked with Dr. Johnson, he was working on Naxos material. That was within the last seven days.

In the upcoming drill and assay program, one protocol will be used by all labs involved. In addition all chemicals to the labs will be supplied by one chemical firm. This is to make certain that we will be comparing apples to apples, etc.

A geological commentary BEFORE the drill program may see me eating crow before it is over with :0) Anything that I would say at this point would be a guess or an opinion. Several points to ponder on: 1) gold to depth on all holes 2) platinum values 3) size of Franklin Lake.

There is always room to improve on any technique be it drilling, sampling, recovery, etc. Familiarity with any process allows us to understand it better. Sixty eight holes is a large drill program, and Naxos has other permits pending to expand beyond the original 68 holes.

Spring time has finally come to the Rockies (sort of), and I've been out most of today. I am personally very excited about the upcoming drill program, which should keep us in news about Franklin Lake throughout the summer. I took the time to review my Naxos notes that I have kept over the years, and the advent of a lead fire assay for the Franklin Lake material has opened up many more options for the company.

Has anyone seen the performance of gold mutual funds within the last few weeks?

I wish all shareholders and friends of Naxos a restful and happy weekend.

Regards,

Kim W.

Kurt: Guess I would not be two concerned about this unless holes #2 and #3 tested similarly. Also, might be a good idea to retest hole #1. Just to be sure. JLA
