Keiko, I spoke w/ the company about 10 days ago and when I asked about the status of the flu and herpes tests, I was told everything was on track. Unless something very drastic occurred, I suspect the message was not accurate- perhaps that is why they call it the Biotech RUMOR Mill. We'll see.

I again called the company this morning (4-27-98) regarding the rumor on the Biotech Rumor Mill that Qdel's flu test program had been shut down and disbanded - I was assured that there was no truth to this rumor at all - also earnings release is due for 5-12-98.
