>>Feel free to send in as much extra in taxes next April 15 as your conscience directs.<<

alan, we aren't talking about extra cash. we are talking about marginal reductions and marginal increases by law.

i also said that the govt is a huge waste of money. i hate sending them money as they waste it enriching themselves all too often.

having trouble expanding out of the rhetorical box? don't let preconceived notions rule you. think.

the funny thing about this whole scenario is that the steve forbes' of the world want YOU to pay more tax. the gen'l public is oh so easy to manipulate... do you think everyone can have a tax reduction when we casn't foot our own bills now? if so, then how is that bridge in brooklyn you bought a while back? ;-)

think about it. you appear to want to reduce your taxes and make those less fortunate pay more. so does forbes - ONLY YOU ARE THE LESS FORTUNATE IN THAT CASE! do you want to pay forbes' tax that he no longer pays? if not then your position is hypocritical.

if everyone wants less taxes then we MUST tackle gov't first. otherwise the cart is before the horse and we are more a part of the problem than a solution.

there is a simple solution to complex problems and it is always wrong.
