paul,

Thanks for the posts. Doesn't sound like a new trend, does it?

Cheers,

MORE PRICE COMPARISONS

The IMRS price decline does not look as much out of line with other stocks as I first thought. IT is down 21.4% since Tuesday. This about half again as much as the 200 stocks in the top 4 sectors reported by IBD. But on Tuesday IMRS on a year to date basis was up half again more than the average of the 200 stocks in the top 4 sectors.IMRS is partly a victim of sector rotation and partly a victim of it's own success. In a way we should be glad that the price dropped as much as it did on the day it had the press conference. As people following the stock far more closely than the average mutual fund or analyst (100 people were on Conference call line but only 8 asked questions) much less private investors.I had lowered my IMRS position to 50% of my portfolio. It was close to 90% when it started to climb in November.I plan to increase it as much as my margin availablity will permit without selling excessively. As my courage and experience increases I will be using calls as I had never done this prior to this week. I have probably gotten burned on 2/3 of my limited investment in calls. But I learn pretty fast and am a plunger when I believe the probabilty of a gain is high.My risk profile is such that I prefer moderate potential % gains on a > 66.7% probabilty basis than bigger % gains on a lower probabilty basis.

Since Tuesday the top 4 sectors comprising 208 companies declined 16.4% while IMRS declined 21.4% this is not surprising since IMRS was up 59% year to date versus 3%% for the top 200.SYNT may be further vulner
