Gutfreund was kicked out of Salomon because of the US government investigation into Salomon's bond trading violations. Is Gutfreund speaking for the average 'small' investor? Gutfreund is speaking for himself, to get some visibility. And if you want to believe he will help you get a better deal on Wall Street (a better return for the 'small investor'), I think you're dreaming a little dream. Nothing personal, Tom, but Gutfreund is one of Wall Street's fat cats (or former fat cats), and he's only looking out for himself. Regards, Larry
