On the market reaching an intermediate top I have a fundamental point to keep in mind. Interest rates.

I'm not sure where this will go or what the impact is but of the 120+ million (its between 120 and 130) individual tax returns filed with the IRS, over 40 million (yes, just more than 1/3) are filed on April 14 & 15.

I'm not sure when the government releases the April revenue #'s but for the past 3 years the surplus has been higher than gov't forecasts. I expect the same with a corresponding drop in rates (even if its only for a few days). I'd expect this to be favorable to the market even if its only short term.
