Narotham, I'm mad at you. You beat me to it! As soon as I read the Herring article, I rushed to the thread to post the link and ... you'd gotten here first! Thanks for both tidbits. I agree with cm, who has earlier mused on Netscape's identity crisis: Am I a software developer, or am I an Web e-commerce center? This is an interesting development, as is Irby's post that implies Netscape has gone to the ATM and has cash for shopping. It's a stretch, of course, from that to a deal with SEEK, but hey, if astrologers can do it, why not starry-eyed Web-stock-holding flakes like us?
