Jan Robert Wolansky posts:

My indicators show we are probably close to the bottom and if the market doesn't melt down next week, we should see the stock higher by the end of the week.

I know that Ghassen thinks this stock may move down further, and he may be right, but barring a tank, Borland's breakout of the symmetrical triangle is still intact. The stock has remained above the top boundary line so far. As noted above, Jan feels that it has or is about to bottom and TChai has stated that the tea cup and handle (I haven't gotten this quite right yet) is still intact.

Admittedly, a contriarian would thus look for lower prices since so many feel that it may move back up, but given the forthcoming announcements on Borland's new direction, we might very well get a push back up towards 11 next week. I'd be careful after that, because quite a few will be looking to get out, and Borland will probably hang around this area until the next quarterly report (unless next week is really fantastic). Just my 2 cents.

Sam

Nice showing in today's down market. BORL may have hit bottom and is beginning the rebound.
