Short interest in CCUR for April down 7% from March (source, IBD).
Jeff, I agree with your general approach to using margin, I only
use it when a stock gets ultra cheap and I am not quite ready to
sell another, very stable stock. However, I think Steve's list
of "bad" stock is ridiculous, I could as easily prepare a list of
"great" stocks that could have been margined. Also, him saying
Thomas has been lucky for 30 years is absurd, you don't get lucky
for 30 years. ALL YOU GUYS WHO HAVE BEEN AROUND 30 YEARS!!!!
Makes me feel like a beginner. I bought my first stock April 17,
1974, right at the start of one of the worst ever bear markets.
A great timer I am not.
Ken

Jeffrey,

I was lucky to collect massive amounts of call premiums (15's, 12 1/2's, 10's and 7 1/2's) for a year and 1/2 and not lose much of my position and then sell the position out when I thought the premiums wouldn't cover the downside on that other issue you talk about. I agree with your assessment, but I am concerned about the recovery in the semi's, so the timing may not be right yet.

If you want to continue discussing this, we should go to the other thread, because I am sure someone here is going to tell us to take it somewhere else and I wouldn't blame them. I check it as much as I check this one.
