Haim,

Did some additional studies to figure the peak and I think around 9,400 is close... it was BB's call and not mine.

Looking at past peaks, it was 2-3% from the first sell-off to the peak which then was the sell-off point.

NOW EVERYONE WILL KNOW! <ggggg>

Jobs are exported en-masse to SE Asia, India Mexico etc

Here's another thing to consider. In the past only low paying manufacturing jobs used to be exported out.

NOW higher paying jobs, specially in programming are being exported out for 2 reasons.

1. shortage of good programmers in this country.
2. Very good programmers available overseas in India, China etc.

The Information age may very well equalise the balance of power since not much financing is required for the Information tech. (as in the industrial revolution where funds were required for assembly lines).

The only thing holding back 3rd world countries from capitalizing on IT is their old, selfish bureacrats/politicians who only have self interest. And even if they did'nt, IT would be too difficult for them to comprehend. We are lucky here we have a young president and VP.
