<Like many small software companies, Softquad seems to have difficulty finding and exploiting a profitable niche> You are right, but there is much to be said for a company which is nimble enough to rapidly respond to opportunities as they arise. I think the 'kid stuff' is a wonderful complement to existing products, and they are nowhere near being spread too thin (the way that Corel was last year with their plethora of CD titles, for example).
