Papaya and all,

I've recently become very interested in Candlestick Charting and am happy that this board is around for a question or two I may have. I've read parts of 'Beyond Candlesticks' and have checked out a few charts of stocks I've been watching to see how well things work.

I may be looking to far into the charts, but I think I found a couple of clear sell signals on stocks that would have made me a good 20% or so in a few days.

Anyways, my question is if candlesticks are only good for predicting short-term movements in price (pullbacks in uptrends and such)? Is it better to use weekly charts to predict longer-term reversals?

Thanks in advance,

Grant
