<<OT>> Oh, Zipster, About MY Money...

My money rides here in SEEK... as it has for quite some
time. I also currently have holdings in CKFR, ITVU, WAVO,
and two other small plays that are way off-topic. I've done
a little trading in those... and actually have my ITVU almost
for free.

And, yes, in my practice, I see ALL SORTS OF NEW MEASUREMENT
tools coming on line for advertisers and megasites to benefit
from. (My practice is e-commerce... and online advertising.)

But, with the exception of SEEK (and CKFR), as I've posted now on,
I think, two threads... I'm looking to go heavy into cash...
soon. I want to be positioned to pick up some of the plays
that I've been watching now for months at wonderfully sweeter
prices. This has been a no-brainer market for search engines
and certain e-commerce/Web plays. It will become a brainer
market, IMHO, in the near term... next two months or slightly
more.

In the brainer market, we'll have to watch QUALITY. (QUALITY
in Web terms doesn't have much to do with earnings today... so
much as it has to do with a clear path toward earnings... and
an understanding of where your company can best be positioned.)
The KTELs and other, IMHO, Web sucker plays (granted I'd have liked
to have put some of that run-up cash in my pockets) will not
have such a friendly wind to sail with. In a few months time,
I think, it won't be just so simple to float an IPO with the
the "W" word attached and see it fly. Or drop a puffy PR piece
about buying a company that is a Web design firm and count
on a 50% run.

Now, if you think I'm not bullish on the Web... let's back
up to the part about IT'S MY WAY OF MAKING MONEY TO INVEST... it's
my profession. I see what advertising clients see... brand
awareness being built... transactions being generated... and
customer profiles being amassed into wonderful knowledgebases
that become the fodder for future promotions and more precise
selling. I couldn't be more bullish about the Web... and
ultimately about Web stocks that are built for the long haul.
Companies with superior technology, alliances, management, etc.
Like SEEK, for example.

Best Regards and Success With Your Investments,
