Didn't mean to discourage you on that, just to keep an eye out for detail. We have APM, Read-rite, Komag, STMD, and maybe even WDC and QNTM all now appearing to have somewhat more uncertain futures than they appeared to have 1 year ago. The point about the forest was a good one and even partial insight into capx puts more substance into mere appearances.

Yes it did and the market reacted appropriately. But everything is relative and they have been running fat inventories for a long long time. If they get another 50-100 million out, mostly components, I'll begin to believe they've got management. Dropping 14k employees this quarter is a pretty strong indication they are taking action for real also.
