Brooke, Your welcome, Ok lets discuss MMs, Shorts, Day Traders and their tactics.
Sheep,in this context, like I said, and I knew this would be taken the wrong way, is how other's view the posters on this thread.
Have you invested in many non-reporting, OTC:BB stocks before? I am not being demeaning, by asking, several people have come out and stated that this was their first, and were unaware of the things that can be done, by the three aforementioned topics, MMs, Traders, and Shorts.
Did you ever wonder how Dr. Meade knew that $4.75 was about the number that DGIV would fall to, when the price hit $6.50? Yes he was correct about the price, just not the timing. He said at the end of the close, but it happened the next morning in about the first trading hour, pretty accurate. After that he made other predictions, but he did not account for other factors, such as the BuyBack program and Deep Pockets, like Mr. D's putting an artificial floor. Is Dr. Meade a MM who is short? I doubt, same for XYZ they do not usually post to boards, though be quite assured they read them, they can move stocks by other means and do not need to post positive or negative to raise/lower the price.
So how did Dr. Meade know the number? How did the IRC daytraders channel know the number, or weren't you aware that there was such a thing? Do you think that the Price Action that so many people are fond of basing decisions on tells you were the shorting occurs?
Do you think that MMs short a 5.25 stock at 2 dollars? Do you think that MMS short a 6.50 stock at 2 dollars? Do you think a MM would short a 7.50 stock at 2 dollars?
Why the drops down to those levels, and Brooke where does the Volume come from on those drops, that ensures it will keep dropping to a Pre-Determined level? Do you honestly beleive that on those drops people on this board are not selling you their shares at 7 and buying back at 6? Do you think that no one on this board, is happy to pick up a few points a week by buying AND selling this stock?
No Day traders play for the eigth and the quarter, well with DGIV they have been able to get dollars, this is a gravy train for the shorts and the traders. Ask dwlima, or didn't you understand his frustration? He is long in this stock, with a sizable position and it is up big in the last month, so why did he say what he did about this board? .
Price at 5.25, short position 3.75.
Price at 6.50, short position 4.75.
Price at 7.50, short position 5.75.
Or does the price action read differently? Not to me.
So how do the Day Traders figure in? They generate the slack for the MMs to hammer the stock down. The jerk it up and the jerk it down and the rope courtesy of the Day Traders. So how can this possibly work when so many people on this board are only buying and not selling? It can't. Hasn't the float been sucked up, several times over by this board? How many folks have averaged up, Big Time? Thats who is buying the stock at 7.50, people averaging up. Who is selling the stock to them? The people who bought at 6.50, and sell at 7, then buy at 6, then sell at 6.75, buy at 6.25, or didn't you wonder where all the bounces up and down, after these 1.50-2.00 falls are encountered, come from? Notice the bounces, followed by the drops? Well in between every spike and every fall is Profit, and they have been cleaning up for weeks! Wherever it levels out, well mark down that price you will see it again, albeit under current patterns, very briefly, or does no one notice after the falls and the new 'Base' is established, we have 'healthy retracements'. BS if there is not the correct volume, then these are not retracements, they are games. Brooke, they are being played all around you.
If you are still under the impression that this board has no influence, think again. I direct you the FTEL thread from earlier this week. A long time poster comes out, Mr David Flood, and he states his concerns about FTEL shareholders getting screwed, notice who Mr Zebra uses for a example in his less than honest Circus of the Absurd post, Mr Flood. Now read this follow up from Mr. Flood the next day or so.

With this enlightening point: "It has been only a few days since WE stirred the bees nest about FNET and FTEL's value.
Panic begets Panic. Seen it here before.Patience. Buyers and supporters will have a field day with the BUYING opportunity. I will add a little and wait for clearance for take-off."
Yup just like that, Mr Flood who had a staunch record of support for FTEL, picked up a 12% if not more profit. He admitted using people and the sentiment on the board to enrich himself, or do you think he is alone in flipping from being Screwed to Buying More that quick? Yes Zebra uses Mr Flood to make his point, and is also quick to point out he does not feel used? Now why Brooke, unless of course, Zebby-Babe was also Joining in to pick up cheaper stock. No Not him, he is a well met fine fellow who would never do anything like that, now would he? Gee no one would do that.
