Sergio and Michael,thanks--and I see what you mean, whether the calls
hedges by shorts or bullish investors is not clear.
As for me,the play was made by me and my broker a couple weeks ago,
we are both hoping Danny Brosilaw will get a deal done, and 17million
shorts are betting there will be no deal.Plus the arguments about
TALK'S actual value is a raging of different viewpoints, from as low as
8 dollars and as high 42 dollars.
So I now have 2 stocks at once with huge short positions, and
all sorts of complexities--"What me worry?"
But I found a lenghthy article in WSJ,that states that Wall Street be
high on TALK sale or no sale, and that the short frenzy with TALK
is NOT Wall Street generated but is a message board short hype.
I will find out before June. One side or the other is going to make
a killing--I hope it is my side,of course.max90

Mike,

Could you give me my daily lesson. When there is a large short interest, does that mean they expect the stock to move up or down???

Thanks and keep smiling
