Archie, are you then shorting the stock to your last dime to make out on that prediction of a 50% haircut? The same-store sales issue is no revelation but the company believes it is returning to growth again. The COO may indeed have been associated with the companies you mention (an interesting point which I'll look into) but he wasn't beamed directly into his current slot; he was promoted into it and is well thought of inside and outside the company from what I can gather. And the fellow who they've put in charge of the catalog is indeed an experienced direct mail marketer, which may help explain the strong demand for the book, its wonderful layout and apparent strong response rate. As a longtime CLE holder I obviously hope you're wrong in your prediction of another round-trip to 12. But if you turn out to be correct I hope you'll load your short-side boat so at least somebody comes out a winner (and of course, if you're wrong it will help propel us to new heights as you and others cover!)
