I've been out of town, but will call first thing tomorrow to check status. As I said in an earlier post, was supposed to happen mid to late Apr. I noticed both GBFC and TBRL are down.

Robert; Tried calling corporate HQ a few minutes ago to get some info on questions raised on the Yahoo message boards. Nobody answered the phone, which I found kind of strange. I did leave a request for return call. I posted over on the Yahoo board that I had noticed the news blurbs about the merger collars were no longer available. I am going to ask about this when I get hold of corporate. Don't know whether they control how long the news posts last, but the posts from Oct last year to Feb this year are gone.

Just got a call back from corporate rep. Here are summaries of answers: Q: What is the latest news on when the merger will happen? A: SEC comments are expected today or within the next couple of days. If there are no issues, proxy statement will be formatted and sent. Proxy requires 20 days for response, so merger is anticipated for end of May. Q: Based on the current price of GBFC is there any chance the collars will change. A: No. GBFC may have to provide more shares if price falls below $7, but collars won't be adjusted. NOTE: I don't know why the reference point of GBFC was $7. I was of the understanding that the low end of the collar was $7.5.
