Peter that's probably because you didn't want someone second guessing your decisions like your old full service broker did. Being a broker I know that I influenced many traders decisions and I now regret that. I think if you get second guessing or coments from a discount broker that you move your account. That's not their purpose. It may have to do with some deep dark fear of criticism. If you phone in the order someone may actually know that you made a mistake;)
