n, cdn, thnk, msft

thnk: Brian knows a lot about it. i did not get into it when he told me and then it moved fast so i gave up. anyway, if u like i can go back and get some FA for you. i posted to Brian on this thread.

my friend, Anant?, wants to become a serious trader. i have been discouraging him as i am a little chicken. so i said lets play w. funny mony. i have asked him to creat a funny mony $50k to 100k portfolio and we will measure his progress for nxt 3months.

i know i can not dedicate time for fulltime tradinga and get extreemly exahusted when i do. Also, end up working nights and weekends to catch up on my work. so maybe u participate in this funny mony portfolio.

Nancy, just buy 100 shares of lu and it will sure to go down when u buy it and then u can buy more. i intend to build it up just similar to csco to make it my core holdings. This is the only way u can hope for your stocks to go down, i really hope that Lu comes crashing down
and i will buy 1000 shares.

msft: i doubt that msft gap will fill. it would have filled by now.
only if Bill wants it to fill then only it will fill and since they probably finihsed buying all they wanted to buy at 120 presplit, i doubt now it will go back. MSFT has spent more money in lobby then total of (sun+nscp+orcl) ...

to: anant re: funny money trading portfoilo.. any comments?

first of all no reason/justification needed for trading, so one does not need give reason for a buy or any other considerations.
if one wants to trade w. 50k of funny mony, need to buy atleast 5 stocks and needs to have at least 10 stock on a watch list.

here is possible entry/exit. stocks must be cheap $ as a limit of apporx 10k per stock. bigger % move on cheap stocks.
