Lee, - OFF TOPIC -

- IMO, basically it is a legal accounting practice.
It has a good advantage in smoothing glitches in
earnings. Many big blue companies are doing this,
GE, KO, PG, and big-name drug companies.

- It is their standard way in projecting the next one
or two quarters. However, it is true that PC growth is
slowing down. Microsoft is doing their best in establishing
new business in other fields, such as enterprise (Windows NT),
and consumer products (Windows CE and WebTV). At current
stage, Microsoft has no other choice but being conservative.
