Eugene, - OFF TOPIC - IMO, the threats to Microsoft's in the next few years are - DOJ & states' antitrust investigation - Sun and IBM's Java collaboration. - Microsoft itself. Microsoft needs to extend business in the following fields - enterprise software (Windows NT, SQL, BackOffice) - consumer product (Windows CE, WebTV) - information service (MSNBC, Carpoint, Expedia, Hotmail and Sidewalk) - internet commerce I like to quote Steve Job's comment on Microsoft's business : "Microsoft has not taste, but they earned their success by persistence."
