nancy, psychology will do most people in ... especially if one suffers a drawdown during trading. The most natural instinct is to exit on breakeven ... that is why those who position trade must fold in fundamentals and market dynamics. I have sold numerous positions this year on breakout even though I knew the story ahead ... the psychology of the cruel market swings in '97 still stays with me.
