We have had discussions about circumcision here before, last year I believe. The American Academy of Pediatrics has come out against it, unless there are religious reasons to do the procedure. Is is true that anaesthesia is used now, at least? When I was a child it was not, and I can still hear my little brother screaming from a whole block away. While I can understand what your doctor said about all the males in a family being the same way, obviously since far fewer circumcisions are being done in America, that is not a consistent rule, and it would seem very simple to explain to a child that he is not circumcized because doctors have decided it isn't necessary anymore, even though Daddy is. I think I might be more concerned about children being ostracized in locker rooms at school if they are "different". I sure hope that in sex education classes, teachers are reiterating that one kind of member is not better, or more "normal" than the other.

"ROLL BACK the skin, take your washcloths and soapy water....." Apparently a problem with hygiene.
