OK, I'll admit it, I've been lurking.....just for a few minutes though. I do not own the book but am aware that he is highly regarded in his approach to momentum trading. Is swing trading just another way of describing short term plays?

comment: most of my successful trades come from identifying a support or bottom price and acting on my indicators for confirmation of reversal before I enter. I can identify where resistance will be, and gage volume and overhead to determine if there is enough DX to break thru. BUT with breakouts to new highs, I can never predict how high, and can not determine if it's a worthy trade. should I care? or just ride the upside (hope for the best)and pull the plug quickly when it weakens.
I have limited myself primarily to only that type of trading, (looking for basing stocks), what else works?
any comments appreciated,
Bill Monier
