I had not seen the data before. Some very interesting points were made. The five companies identified as part of the "the deep UV food chain" were pointed out as having an impressive record - "Since the beginning of 1997, the stocks in the new index have appreciated 98 percent, compared with 32 percent for the semiconductor index.....He said he (Mr. Deahna) expected the five companies in the index to have annual growth of more than 30 percent over the next five years, while the overall semiconductor and semiconductor equipment industries will grow 17 percent to 18 percent."

If one believes the projection as stated, the place to put your money is obvious. It certainly has some good history, since the beginning of 1997, going for it. Another question that might be asked is, Which 1 or 2 of the 5 companies is going to do the best? After all, why settle on 30 percent per year for five years when making the right investment could net 50 to 60 percent per year by picking the right 1 or 2 companies.:)
