Nuc-
I have a IRA Brokerage Account with Fidelity and I can and do trade put and call options. I can also write covered calls, however I cannot write covered puts in my IRA since you cannot have a short position in an IRA. I understand that various brokerages impose their own rules on top of Federal Regulations so that certain brokerage houses may not allow option trading in IRAs.
