Bobby, Neither a reverse split nor a regular split upset short sellers. Those are just accounting flim-flams and since most shares are held in street name, the brokerage firms handle it with book entries.

The only way to force short sellers, in general, to cover is to buy all the shares and demand delivery. Of course, if the price of the stock goes higher, margin calls will force some shorts to cover. But that is a personal decision not to get hurt any more. They can still play if they put up more cash. MB
