SR thx for the note. I too think Clik! will be not only a great money maker for IOM but yet again it is another product that will change the way we work and play. Do not worry about not being a "techie". Even though I am in an MBA program beyond that I think one needs to awake each day God gives you and have the attitude of LEARNING. With the information revolution the people who are not afraid to ask questions and learn will get ahead.

Also the Clik! and for that matter other Iomega products (my favorite the Jaz Plus) are used by everyday people like you and me, so when the Clik! comes out lets share how we use it. Take care GO IOM

>I think that IOM is taking a lot of time to get the product out as they want the quality to be very high and they don't want to make some of the mistakes they made with the Zip<<

I think they are taking their time because they are just trying to get the damn thing to work at all!

Seriously, I think techie-headed Iomaniacs need to pull their head out and look at the real world. The real world is a world where people will not put up with unreliability. Especially when they have to spend $200 for just 40 MB.

The torture that portable devices have to put up with include dust, sand, heat, humidity, among numerous other things. All of these will cripple your Vapor! drive. If you think that dust is bad for an office-tied Zip drive, just wait till you get your Vapor! drive out on the beach and have a drive bay full of sand. Or, leave your Vapor! discs in the car in Texas during the Summer. Just ask Truff what will happen to them.

Flash tech is a sealed technology. It is reliable in virtually ALL environments. Iomaniacs totally forget to include the real world in the mix when they espouse their pie-in-the-sky proposals for Vapor! This is the reason why NO OEM's have signed on for Vapor! And others like Nikon have stated that they WILL NOT INCLUDE DISC DRIVES IN THEIR PORTABLE DEVICES. Too unreliable for field use.
