kevin-- it wouldnt suprise me. i am so sick of the shell game between the LD and local telcos that it is almost sickening. these guys are going to sue themselves out of business. by the time they are able to offer high speed services to consumers, many will have switched to a satellite based system like teledesic. or at least that is the way it looks now. i'm all for competition, but the bells are not going to build the infrastructure without profit. and the clecs cant really afford to duplicate. so we are at an impasse. good luck to all, trey
