Lucent Tecnologies TV Ad - I was watching the new Lucent Technology TV Ad which shows a stranded motorist out in the desert who is hitch-hiking by holding up a sign to the passing traffic which announces his destination - a data network which is as reliable as a voice network. Finally, he is picked up by a white panel truck bearing the Lucent logo. As I watched, I found myself wondering whose unreliable data network was the object of this message. Then, it occurred to me I might know the answer. Ken Phillipps
