Thanks for your thoughtful (as always) comments Lee. One of the big problems is how do you measure inflation? Depending on the basket of goods and services, inflation measures swing substantially. I guess my position is this: I don't see inflation looming on the horizon. I see continuing drops in commodity prices with the exception of oil, which I think will stabilize at the $15 - $16/bbl range for the short-term, but gradually drift up during the intermediate term. Only after Asia recovers do I see the possibility of a large increase in the price of oil.

Anyway, thanks for the post, and all of the data. You certainly do your homework! [You can use me as a foil anytime].
