Talk about cornering the market

Still more similarities between Cognicase and Informission. Posting #119 Message 3665104 outlined special federal government contract awards to seven companies to accelerate the availability of Y2K remediation services for the government.

Looking at these 7 companies, 3 of them use Informission's software (CGI Group, IBM and CSC) while three use Cognicase's (SHL, DMR and EDS).

Informission also lists LGS Group as a strategic partner - LGS has won multi-million dollar contracts with the Department of National Defence and Agriculture Canada, among others.

Informission's EPS for Q1/98

This is to update my previous posting where I didn't have the number of shares outstanding in order to do an EPS calculation.

According to Canada StockWatch, there are 12,765,854 shares outstanding. So the earnings of $859,000 spread over these shares would yield an EPS of $0.067 for the quarter.
