Gabriel,

I have not yet recomputed my estimates but it looks like what Andy Grove calls a "strategic inflection point" in the PC industry has been reached. We have the indirect companies bloated with excess inventory while the direct , DELL in particular, is unafflicted in the market place.

I will redo my numbers and post them later this week. I going down to Los Angeles tomorrow and will not be back for a few days.

A key question here is whether DELL's margins will be 7.5, 7.6, 7.7 , 7.8 or higher. I expect a very good performance in the enterprise and notebook arenas where they have placed special emphasis this past quarter.

Regards,

Jim Kelley
