Does anyone know of a data service that provides higher market index quotes on days such as today? I'm looking for a service that would report the Nasdaq composite up 40 today, for example. I'm quite sensitive to downswings in the market. I need a quote service that would humor me during market corrections -- even delude me. I'm looking for a company willing to use its imagination, willing to present a rosy picture no matter what. Does Bre-X Minerals provide a stock quote service perhaps? Or Oxford Health Plans? I'm willing to pay a little bit more for quotes that are a little easier on the eyes. Incidentally, the quote service must be available via direct download in remote locations. I'm not sure whether I'm going to be able to connect to the Internet from my new address. When the Dow fell below 220 this afternoon, I had a little outburst in the control tower when asked to remove my sunglasses. After finding myself suddenly on the tarmac, forced to reassess my career, I've decided to join one of the nation's last active Shaker communities in Maine.
