I suppose you'd see my point if you got screwed too. If you haven't been screwed then just count yourself very fortunate, you are one of an increasingly rare breed.

I definitely understand people's frustration with the problems Datek had Wednesday morning (I think I mistated that these problems were Tuesday). I too had orders delayed and uncancellable for the first hour of trading. Fortunately for me, these problems didn't cause me to lose serious $$.

But others have stated here that Datek "always" has problems filling orders at open and close, and I just have not found this to be the case. It seems many people just don't understand what a limit order between the spread really is.

They may be legally entitled to juggle our orders around so they can make additional income apart from the $9.99 fee, but that doesn't make it right in my opinion and they are certainly not upfront about it.

I still don't understand why you feel they "juggle" orders.
