I totally agree with you on the financial service sector. It is now "fully valued" according to the analysts I've heard on CNBC (they are saying the same thing about the airlines). As good as an outright sell, imo.

re banks and brokers: some yes, some no. Banks make money on ARM spreads, so they pass along rate hikes to consumers. the brokers make money on volatility and internet trading. A new trend among small banks is to buy profitable small businesses and ISPs to bolster their business. I'm hanging on to my blue-chip microcaps (and a chunk of FBRSX) that are reasonably valued and hedged them with mortgage REITs.

It's not that he is different.I just know he is a widely followed advisor and not overly hypie.
Glad to hear you have some puts this morning.And Barry, we are all trying to figure out tops and bottoms at least as close as possible.Of all days for Bill to be stuck in a seminar!Oct 27 now April 27???
