They are renting all the theaters because they need to interest developers and end-users. It's a media event advertising campaign. They will describe the direction of the company and the new products and hope that developers will be excited enough to be willing to make a commitment, and that the users will, too. Remember when the first Mac said "hello" and all the world listened? That's what the hope is with this event -- to recapture that pull on the heart string, that thrill, which some of us still feel on remembering that moment. Linda
