>>Yes I know what Baklava is...send it.....<g>...

Well then --just imagine the best, most mouth-watering ,delectable baklava that you have ever eaten -- that is what is in it for you if you win this wager!!

>>Hey you tryin' to take advantage of me?????

Now come, come, OJ--all I said was that they would be significantly lower and you said that they would double. And I used that to establish the terms of the wager. How could that be taking advantage of you??? Besides, you should know by now, that I am used to wagers with great odds, when it comes to SI:)

>>You're saying they will be lower...i'll say higher pal..OK???

That will be fine; so what I suggest is that we take an imaginary $100K and invest it equally in the three stocks that you mentioned. Now if a year from last Friday--that is as of close of trading on April 23, 1999--the portfolio is valued at greater than $100K -- you win. If it is less than $100K, I win. How does that sound to you??

>>Now here's the hedge!!! if they're DOUBLE from here...I get extra goodies<g>.....if they're half of what they are, you'll get a bonus package...

Now this is my proposal -- if on April 23, 1999, the portfolio is worth half or less than what it was when we started ie $50K or less, I win the "bonus" and if it is $200K or greater then you win. Not sure what the bonus should be if this happens -- I don't want any more of the Tastycake--so why don't you suggest something. I have a thought on what it might be --but I'll leave it to you to suggest what would be the right prize.

Now remember the only thing that matters is what the portfolio is worth on April 23, 1999 at the close of regular trading. Price action, in the interim does not matter.

I think that we ought to have Lisa do her scholarly thing and make sure that we have covered all bases -- and her reward would be some Tastycake or baklava to be sent to her by the loser.

And because you are a real nice guy, I am going to give you a very friendly warning -- I rarely lose wagers.

Now the ball's in your court:)
