Absolutely...as you've proven with your careful analysis of your picks, the time spent on investigating matters issues as thoroughly as possible is well worth the effort...both in $$$ earned AND in money saved in losses you WOULD have suffered had you not uncovered important information about a company and invested in them. I find that when I can't uncover the answers I'm looking for, not just one phone call but at least two initial phone calls to a company normally completes a picture for me. I like to speak to I.R. to get specifics on the security itself, pending issues, meetings, etc...and since I.R. usually doesn't have the expertise or level of actual product involvement to answer technical questions, then I make a phone call to a VP or higher who is responsible for or closely involved in product development, intimately, in a way that would preclude too much involvement with the stock side of the coin, but who can answer in-depth, technical questions about the product(s). Knowing both sides of the coin are a must with me, personally, before I invest...you can have a great product with great potential but it has real stock problems....or you can have a company that looks great on paper but then what they have in their development pipeline puts me to sleep. Of course, no picture is ever "perfect" in this arena...but I find I can make my determination of current and future potential in a way that lets me sleep at night. JEM
