Don't you know some people like that? That life doesn't affect them the same way it does others--doesn't-what?- corrupt them?

No.

There is minor depiction of sex as it is part of the relationships explored. The bad language is really British so really quite toned down in American terms. I mean wanker, bollocks, I guess be prepared for some questions about what some of the terms mean. But as a head piece there is a lot to like about it.

It is probably a pretty good movie for 15, if they are comfortable with exploring some of the more realistic issues in relationships. All in all I found the humor quite funny. For the most part I can agree with the view that most men can act like a bunch of wankers in their relationships with women. And Gwyneth gives a pretty good bifurcated performance.

Given what you said about your lesson in the car, this might broaden his thinking about the result of just thinking about relationships as centered on shagging. If you are comfortable with those terms for him to hear, then I'll bet he will enjoy it despite his prejudice against "girl films".
