Can anyone name one other site with the same personal loyalty that SI commands?>>> Peter: I can tell you from personal experience that that very feeling you mention was present on some of the threads of Compuserve. In fact when it was bot out by AOL many of the participents were trying to find a place on the the net where they could continue their discussions if things did not continue as before. Needless to say the level of discussion declined and many of the valuable contributors left the discussions and to me it was not worth my while to continue. Many of the better contributors I see here on SI. I hope the same thing does not happen here with the acquisition by go2net. regards daverose
