AOL comfortable with $0.12/shr for Q3

SAN FRANCISCO, April 27 (Reuters) - American Online Inc. chief financial officer Len Leader said that he is comfortable with current Wall Street consensus
estimates of $0.12 a share for its fiscal third quarter, excluding charges.

Leader told a Hambrecht & Quist Technology conference that he is also comfortable with Wall Street forecasts of $567 million in service revenues and $115 million
in other revenues for the third quarter.

AOL will report fiscal third quarter earnings around May 6.

Leader also said that AOL plans to continue making investments in Web-based properties, content functionality and programming. He declined to specify how much
AOL is spending.

He also said that AOL sees the online services business moving toward more premium pricing, like the cable industry or airline industry, where customers pay more
for premium services, but he declined to be more specific.

AOL recently raised its monthly subscription rates to $21.95, up from $19.95 previously.
